Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • I confirm that the submitted article satisfies all the requirements for submission
  • Confirm that the manuscript has been created by the author(s) and not an AI tool/Large Language Model (LLM). If an AI tool/LLM has been used to develop or generate any portion of the manuscript, then this must be clearly flagged in the Methods and Acknowledgements.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript structure

A research article must include the following mandatory elements:

  • title of the article;
  • author information (full name, academic degree, academic title, institutional affiliation, email address, ORCID);
  • abstract in Ukrainian and English (250-300 words);
  • keywords (5-7 words or phrases);
  • main text (introduction, problem statement, literature review, research objectives, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and prospects for further research);
  • references.

Technical requirements

  • Submission format: .docx file.
  • Article length: 4,000-6,000 words.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 14, line spacing 1.5.
  • Margins: top and bottom – 20 mm, left – 20 mm, right – 15 mm.
  • Paragraph indentation: 1.25 cm.
  • Illustrative material (tables, figures, charts) must be numbered and placed in the text at the point of first mention. Captions are required for all tables and figures.

 

References and citations

  • All sources cited in the text must be listed in the References section, and all items in the References must be cited in the text.
  • The journal follows the APA 7th edition citation style. Authors are expected to provide accurate and consistent bibliographic details.
  • In-text citations should include the author’s surname and year of publication (e.g., Melnyk, 2020). For direct quotations, the page number should also be provided (Melnyk, 2020, p. 15).
  • References must be arranged alphabetically according to APA requirements.
  • If a publication has a DOI, it must be indicated in the standard format (https://doi.org/...).
  • Authors are encouraged to cite current and high-quality academic sources, including peer-reviewed journal articles, monographs, and conference proceedings. The use of secondary or non-academic sources is permitted only when they are directly relevant to the research.

Language and style

  • The primary language of publication is Ukrainian or English (depending on the journal’s profile).
  • Authors are expected to use academic style, precise terminology, and avoid journalistic or emotionally coloured expressions.

Submission of manuscripts

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s electronic editorial platform.
  • Submission is possible only if all authors have an ORCID.

Responsibility of Authors and Editorial Office

Authors bear primary responsibility for the accuracy of the data presented, the correctness of citations, and the completeness of bibliographic information. Submission of a manuscript confirms that the work is original, truthful, and compliant with the principles of academic integrity. The editorial office, in turn, ensures editorial and peer-review oversight, verification of compliance with formatting standards, and adherence to international principles of publication ethics. Final responsibility for the content and scholarly soundness of the publication is shared between the authors and the editorial board.
